Spectrometer

Our Advance Student Spectrometer is a well-built instrument with features and accessories that help students accurately measure spectral lines and prism angles. It uses high-quality, large-aperture optics to produce clear spectral images, while precision machining enables exact rotation and measurements. It offers a resolution of 1 arc minute. The spectrometer has a 150mm or 178mm diameter precision-engraved degree plate and two precision-engraved verniers on either side for easy reading.

The 7” spectrometer meets the needs of standard degree colleges and technical labs. It includes a lifetime 178mm stainless steel scale and verniers calibrated using advanced dividing machines for maximum accuracy. A unique circular slit is provided for the collimator, made from close-grained stainless steel. The slit jaws are meticulously finished, ground, and optically tested for edge accuracy. The jaws operate symmetrically from the centre and remain parallel across all openings. The spectrometer is supplied in a high-quality wooden box, with vernier readings of 1 minute.

Additionally, we offer vertical motion adjustments for both the collimator and telescope. Both the telescope and collimator are securely held in alignment, with vertical adjusting screws for precise placement. Clamping devices are included to lock the telescope and collimator in position after adjustment, allowing for fine lateral and vertical adjustments of the tubes.
