Portable Wheatstone Bridge Apparatus

The Wheatstone bridge is a fundamental circuit that is used to measure the resistance of a circuit element. It is based on the principle that a bridge circuit is balanced when the ratio of the resistances in one arm of the circuit is equal to the ratio of the resistances in the other arm of the circuit.

When the bridge circuit is balanced, the current flowing through the galvanometer is zero, indicating that the bridge is in equilibrium. At this point, the ratio of the unknown resistance to the known resistances can be determined, allowing the value of the unknown resistance to be calculated.
