Lamps in Parallel Kit

Parallel connection is a type of electrical connection where the components are connected in a way that allows the current to flow in multiple paths at the same time. In a parallel connection, the components are connected side by side, and each component has its own separate path for the electric current to flow through.

This allows each component to operate independently, regardless of the other components in the circuit. One advantage of a parallel connection is that if one component fails, the other components can continue to operate normally. Additionally, parallel connections can help reduce the overall resistance of the circuit, allowing for a greater flow of current.

This is why we don’t use series connections in our homes. They’re not safe and can be inconvenient. Instead, we use parallel connections. This means that each light bulb has its own separate connection to the electricity, so if one bulb stops working, the other bulbs will still be able to function properly.

Our Lamps in Parallel Kit is designed specifically for school students to demonstrate series connection and how voltage is divided across each bulb.
